We need a trustee with accountancy & audit experience who will support maintaining our financial, administrative and accounting services
Your role will be to:
Internal Controls: Ensure accurate and adequate documentation and recording of AP Incomes and expenditures. Support the Finance Manager in making monthly analysis of all departments and projects cost expenditures and produce reports accordingly
Finance Systems: Support the Finance Manager in maintaining AP Financial systems and ensure accuracy and adequacy of postings into Quick Books and such other systems/templates that may be produced from time to time
Budgeting: Ensure that accounting records are kept in such a way as to support proper and easy monitoring of Budgets. Support Budget Holders in developing and managing their budgets and producing reports that will assist this process.
Financial Modelling: Working with trustees, directors and finance manager to model future budgets and cash flows.
Personal Qualities: Organizing; Planning and Prioritising Work; Written and Oral Expression; Analytical; Information processing and Initiative.
Essential - Minimum of two years work experience in accountancy; Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel & Word (MS Office in general); Experience in managing cash
Desirable - BSC or HND Accounting; Accounting experience in a charitable and /or social enterprise organisation; Experience in using a good Quick Books; Knowledge of fund accounting regulations for non-profit organisations
