Working together in Cricklewood

Another example of residents working well together in Cricklewood. In 2019 the Cricklewood Town Team talked about the need for public space on the Broadway. The Oaklands Road project, much delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions, and funded by Brent’s NCIL Neighbourhood Infrastructure Levy, was devised to address long-standing problems associated with the congested environment, air pollution and lack of public space in Cricklewood town centre. The Broadway lacks sufficient opportunity to meet in a safe, clean air, traffic free space and welcoming place. Now, we have that opportunity and the Town Team made up of Members of surrounding Residents Associations, Ashford Place and others are now planning more initiatives like this.
