Our the last four months our Dementia team and Mentoring & Befriending team have organised weekly deliveries of food/cooked food to our clients across the borough. This wouldn’t have been possible without the consistent and committed approach of our many volunteers. And of course our partners Mutual Aid Food Willesden and the Pakistani Community Centre which was turned into a depot for food collection and deliveries. We have admired the way volunteers have this ‘can do will do’ attitude and we are very grateful to them, both our own volunteers and those from across the borough. Our next phase now is to continue working with our clients as restrictions begin to ease, cautiously and with the support again from our volunteers ensure that they have the resources they need to feel safe and well. We know for instance that some people will still need food deliveries for a while yet so we will continue with this smaller group of people to support them.
