Welcome to our Mezz , a place where you can have a delicious lunch, drinks, treats, as well as spaces for socialising, relaxing, learning.
Ashford Place has a 5 star food hygiene rated community kitchen serving delicious homecooked meals from 1pm - 2pm Mon-Fri. We also have a small Side Door Café and Community Shop which connects to our secluded outdoor garden space and wellbeing area.
Lunch is served at a suggested contribution of £5 from 1pm - 2pm Mon-Fri..
You are invited to help us develop the Mezz as a creative, relaxing and imaginative space. We are all different and we can all bring different ideas on how we use our space. We want our Mezz to be a space where we can all develop our physical and mental wellbeing.
The Mezz is a setting for many of our social activities, please click here to see our Activities Programme. If there is something you want to do that is not on the list, let us know and we can help you set it up for the benefit of yourself and others. If there is an activity that you want to set up in the community then please let us know and we can help you with that too!
The Mezz is for everyone - local residents, visitors, staff, volunteers and for our clients who may feel isolated by virtue of homelessness, age related problems, having concerns about their mental health, have memory problems, being long term unemployed etc.
Our Mezz is all about good food and good company but also an opportunity to attend activities related to learning, social, health & wellbeing, personal development, art, music and more.
The kitchen funded by paying guests, in kind by food surplus distributors such as The Felix Project, and City Harvest and by donations from schools, faith groups and individuals.
- How can you join? Come to reception and talk to staff or contact us on 020 8208 8590 or email [email protected]
- We also need volunteers to assist in the kitchen, to serve lunch and chat with our service users.
