We are committed to collaborating with organisations and community groups across Brent to shape and deliver the Age Friendly Brent initiative for older people. o‑designing this work ensures it genuinely reflects the needs, ideas and aspirations of our diverse local communities. The Senior Hub project – an Age Friendly Brent project - is a recent illustration of the collaborative, community‑led approach we believe in and continue to champion. Together, we are stronger — and together, we can build a more inclusive, supportive and age‑friendly Brent for everyone.
The Age‑Friendly Brent initiative, launched in 2025, is led by older people themselves and is supported by a consortium of organisations including the Brent Pensioners’ Forum, Brent Council, Elders Voice, Ashford Place and Age UK HHB — all joining forces to improve the quality of life for older people as we age.
