In a touching tribute to World Alzheimer’s Month 2024, CADBrent organized a special event that brought the community together through the power of music. The highlight of the celebration was a moving performance by our Dementia Choir, whose members sang with heartfelt passion and feeling. The event took place in the beautiful acoustic setting of the Ascension Church, providing a perfect backdrop for the choir’s performance. The choir was joined by local councillors, representatives from Brent Council, and numerous local residents, all of whom participated enthusiastically. The collective voices resonated through the church, creating an atmosphere of unity and support for those affected by dementia.
This event not only showcased the talents of our Dementia Choir but also highlighted the importance of community involvement and support in raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease. The participation of local officials and residents underscored the collective commitment to making a difference in the lives of those living with dementia and contributing to CADBrent's ambition of working towards a dementia friendly Brent.
