The RPO’s – Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - mission is to enrich lives through orchestral experiences that are uncompromising in their excellence and inclusive in their appeal and it certainly achieved that this week with its performance of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. It has been a privilege to have been a part of the RPO’s Resound programme over the last two years where RPO musicians and programme staff have worked beside our people with mental health challenges to create music and songs. This has been an essential part of our creative health ambitions bringing enrichment to the lives of our clients through music and the arts. The Resound programme has been working with schools in Brent for many years and are now also working with people in mental health services such as in-patient wards and community settings. We are encouraging the RPO to continue its work with us and look forward to partnering with them again soon.
