Members from across our dementia/memory café network attended an amazing harp recital hosted by St Anne’s Church, Dean Street, Soho as part of the Music For The Moment series for people living with dementia and their friends, family and carers, in collaboration with the Royal Academy of music and Resonate Arts. In the recital Mared Pugh-Evan never skips a beat. Members truly enjoyed what can only been described as a mystical concert of Music followed by lovely tea and cake for all. Such was the appreciation of our members that they have been invited to the next Music for the Moment event on Friday 30th September 2022 at St Marylebone Parish Church. Details of the event to follow. We are keen to ensure more of these events as we journey, post covid to a time when members are more connected with the arts and culture and are enable to live well and interesting lives.
