There is nothing like a day out at the zoo for our dementia community especially when the weather is lovely, the company is great, everything goes smoothly and fun is had by all. See below a response from one of the folks.
"I wanted to express our deepest thanks for allowing our group of people living with dementia and their carers to attend the Community Celebration at London Zoo on the 14th August 2024. Your generosity and kindness made a huge difference to our group. The day was filled with joy, and it was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on everyone's faces as they experienced the zoo's wonderful exhibits. These moments of connection with nature and the animals provided our group with an invaluable sense of well-being and happiness.
