Endings and beginnings

06.03.2025

What a journey it's been. Our four-week project might have wrapped up, but the echoes of joy, laughter, heartfelt conversations, and newfound confidence will linger far beyond. The bonds forged, the courage found, the stories shared, and the friendships kindled—these are the gifts that will stay with us.

A heartfelt shoutout to Metroland Cultures for making this dream a reality. When the Kilburn Print Workshop made its way to Ashford Place, it brought more than art supplies—it brought light, healing, and a sense of purpose to our cherished community. These sessions weren’t just about creative expression; they became lifelines, providing hope and nurturing wellbeing. For so long, our residents have yearned for activities like these—opportunities to rebuild, rediscover, and thrive.

The reflections from these last four weeks are a testament to the profound impact these workshops have had:

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Heiba, our inspiring artist, and to Lizzie and Cristy from Metroland Cultures. You’ve given our community so much more than art—you’ve given us connection, courage, and creativity. Please don’t be strangers—come back soon!
