The CAD Brent Hub Team welcomed 75 people to the Chalkhill Community Centre for exercise with Donna, lunch, a quiz and prize Bingo. The lunch went down a treat - but not until we had been put through our paces by Donna - who led the musical chair exercise session with her usual enthusiasm. During lunch the guests completed a quiz - resulting in one very happy winner who had the closest guess of the tie breaker question 'how many months did Queen Victoria reign ?'. The answer of course is ...763 months! We then had a very exciting game of prize bingo with one tables winning 4 times!
All in all a fabulous time for our dementia community here in Brent. These events are so important as they allow us to bring together guests from all 15 cafes in Brent , offering an opportunity for cafe guests to meet new people and share experiences. Here's to the next one.
