The dementia team visited Kew Gardens last week with a group of guests from the café network. It was very hot but we made the most of the day by using the tour bus instead of walking, we stopped to take the shade often and enjoyed an ice-cream to cool off. Everyone was very sensible wearing sun hats, sunscreen and drinking plenty of water. The group had a fabulous day – we talked about everything horticultural and discovered we had some green fingers amongst us. A lovely day!
