Community is at the heart of Ashford Place and our work. We therefore thoroughly appreciate families supporting us by staying in touch with our clients.
This week, one of our longstanding clients had a very pleasant surprise. They heard from a family member, after an extended period of little contact. During the heatwave, the client’s family emailed to check on their relative. They included photos from family events and childhood photos along with their message. The message and photos were received with much joy.
We encourage you to nurture, rekindle and create connections at this time, thinking particularly of those who live abroad. Consider contacting someone that you haven’t spoken to in a while to let them know that they’re in your thoughts, and use your words to create your own community. Family contact and news from home will be appreciated.
