Our long running art group delivered with the help of Learning Through the Arts brings out the creative and conversational side of the artists that take part. Participants take great pride in their completed works and enjoy discussing the finished pieces with the other attendees.
Engagement in art activities is proven to : Activate reward pathways in the brain, Reduce stress, Lower anxiety levels, Improve mood, Help healing from trauma, alleviate anxiety, depression and feelings of isolation that come with living with health challenges.
