Steps to Wellbeing

19.02.2026

Ashford Place’s wellbeing walks have been a wonderful way to get our members moving, chatting, and feeling good. Each week, we set off at 11am for an hour-long stroll, clocking up around 4,000–5,000 steps while enjoying fresh air, scenic views, and plenty of friendly conversation along the way.

The walks are as much about connection as they are about exercise. Whether we’re talking about wellbeing or simply sharing a laugh and a bit of everyday chit-chat, there’s always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We finish back at Ashford Place with a well-earned cup of tea or coffee.

Members tell us they leave feeling physically energised, mentally refreshed, and more connected to their community. It’s amazing the impact simple walk and talk can do to support positive mental health.
