We were very pleased to attend Sufra’s Annual Referral partner meeting and celebrate the launch of their new directory of services! It was a great opportunity to chat with staff and volunteers, learn more about the charities 'recent work, and, of course, enjoy delicious food! Sufra coordinates a network of food banks, kitchens, a community shop, and café across Brent, which act as a gateway for guests to access more holistic support. The charities' guiding principles of dignity and sustainability align strongly with those of Ashford Place, and we look forward to learning more about their future initiatives and working closely. Be sure to visit St. Raphael’s edible garden (ran and managed by Sufra) on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday when it is open to all the community!
