Summer arrived and while some of our clients are away visiting family and friends in the UK and abroad, we continue to support the members of the community who have stayed here through the Summer months.
We are always on hand to assist where necessary by regularly calling our clients, or they are always very welcome to drop in to see us in our café for a cup of tea and a chat or have a healthy freshly cooked meal in our mezzanine.
We never forget those who struggle with their mobility are unable to attend in person. We will always call them on the phone or visit to make sure they are safe and well.
Many clients who had family visiting them over the Summer were always very welcome to bring family members in to see us here in Ashford Place. It is always lovely to meet client’s extended family members from afar. It is a great boost for our clients to see family who they may not have seen for some time. It is good for their mental wellbeing and reconnects them to their roots back home.
