Last week CAD Brent said a HUGE thank you to the de-cafe network volunteers. The volunteers provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for people living with dementia in Brent via the network of 15 cafes. The event was opened by Danny Maher CEO of Ashford Place and CAD Brent who explained that CAD Brent was launched in 2016 and has gone from strength to strength, working tirelessly to ensure Brent is a dementia friendly borough. Her worshipful Mayor of Brent Cllr Orleen Hylton presented each of the 45 volunteers in attendance with a certificate of Thanks before they enjoyed a lovely lunch.
