As autumn arrives and leaves begin to fall, our commitment to walking remains strong!
Join us every Wednesday morning at 11am for our wellbeing walk, starting from Ashford Place. Each week, we stroll through Gladstone Park, enjoying the fresh air and the company of fellow walkers. These walks offer numerous benefits, including physical exercise, social interaction, and a boost in confidence and independence for those who might not venture out regularly. By participating, we help combat isolation and loneliness, fostering friendships and creating lasting memories within our community.
Additionally, our ‘Big Walk’ takes place on the last Wednesday of each month, where we explore different parks to discover new outdoor wellbeing spaces. This encourages everyone to step beyond their usual surroundings.
Last week, our ‘Big Walk’ took us to King Edward VII Park in Wembley, where we enjoyed a delightful walk, covering approximately 7,000 steps! Our next adventure will be at ‘The Welsh Harp’ Open Space on Wednesday, October 30th.
If you’d like to join our weekly wellbeing walks, please contact Jeri at 020 8208 8590 ext 219 or via email at [email protected].
Keep walking and stay connected!
