Our Health & Wellbeing groups submitted their designs and took the opportunity to also submit a letter so as to share their views on the importance of keeping cash alive. We were delighted to receive a reply from Ms Victoria Cleland, Bank of England's Chief Cashier (check the top left corner of your newest notes to see her signature!) confirming that our designs will feed into their design planning and that she was able "to talk to ITV news about the continued importance of cash to different groups of people in society across the UK, not least marginalised communities."
So keep an eye out for the new notes and you may find that one of our designs has been chosen!
