Annual Health Checks for those living with severe mental health challenges.
At Ashford Place, we are working together with Brent Clinical Commissioning Group to encourage all Brent Residents living with a severe mental illness to have their annual health checks.
People living with severe mental illness face one of the greatest health inequality gaps in England
This disparity in health outcomes is partly due to physical health needs being overlooked. Individuals living with a severe mental illness are not always consistently offered appropriate or timely physical health assessments despite their higher risk of poor physical health.
