We established our befriending service in 2019 as a means of establishing contact with socially isolated members of our community and of maintaining contact with clients who had engaged with us over the years but could no longer benefit from our services due to relocation or becoming confined to their homes. Little did we know then that our befriending project would become a lifeline to the our community. Our report click here>> gives an insight into the various challenges we faced this year. Without doubt we will need to expand our befriending service further in the coming months. It will be challenging helping with the myriad of issues that our clients are presented with on a daily basis but we have a good insight into what is needed and are always buoyed by the positivity and resilience of our befriendees.
