Being creative during lockdown

23.03.2021

Ashford place team has been busy creating creative new approaches to how we manage our health and wellbeing, and this has been hugely helped by our involvement with Accumulate (a charity providing creative workshops to young homeless people). Some of our staff have been trained in new approaches to art and in turn support our clients to experiment and express themselves creatively.

Recently, our clients were encouraged to create a magazine cover entitled  “Emotion” with art kits from Accumulate.  Clients reported being very pleased with their success. And why not.

And now for something outdoors.  We have stayed in contact with our vulnerable clients with 1:1 walks for those not that keen on zoom contact and it’s been great to have a bit of fresh air, a good catch up and of course a bit of exercise.
