2021 has certainly started differently for us all but with our focus on the service user’s wellbeing, and their commitment and loyalty to our services; we are going stronger each day.
We have maintained the continuation of the Zoom groups weekly, are looking ahead to design, and incorporate new ideas and ways to improve everyone’s wellbeing.
This year’s focus on all of our groups will be mainly our Health, and tasks for different groups will include activities to encourage and promote physical and mental health.
- We kicked started the first Art group for this year with a task of creating our “Special 2021 Calendar
- Creative writing focused this week and will continue to for the next few weeks on the “Me , Myself ,and My Dreams”

- Wellbeing Friday we focused on healthy eating and next week we are cooking live together the below recipe (join us if you dare ;)
Grilled Pineapple with Lime Zest & Sesame Seeds, served with Activia Peach 0% Fat & 0% Added Sugar
SERVES: 4 // PREP: 10 minutes // COOK: 5 minutes
- 1 pineapple, core cut out, sliced into rings
- 1 lime, zested and juiced
- 4 x 120g pot of Activia Peach 0% fat and 0% added sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1/ Heat a griddle pan until hot, then grill the pineapple until both sides of each slice is charred. Remove from the pan and set aside to cool. Add the limejuice to the pan and quickly heat before pouring over the pineapple.
2/ Pour the Activia Peach yoghurt into a bowl, add the pineapple, then sprinkle with the sesame seeds and lime zest
