This week we enjoyed getting back together and talking about what we have read during the pandemic. It was a lively and interesting afternoon. We also read Julie Hamills prequel of the eagerly awaited third book of her trilogy. We loved it, understood it, identified with it and really want to read more. “June, we are waiting! Julie, we would very much like to read more”
Next Book club is 2pm on 11th November – we will continue reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owen. It was recommended by Mollie. Muriel will recommend November’s book and there is already quite a stir about what she might choose.
