There are almost 6.5 million carers in the UK – that is one in ten people. Here at Ashford Place we work alongside many carers and fully understand and appreciate the very difficult job they do, 24//7, unpaid and often unconsidered. And of course their role is even more challenging during Covi-19 times. We are always surprised at the integrity and stoicism of our carers, many of whom thank us for supporting them! They are the people who should be thanked, recognised and celebrated. Over the coming months we will spend more time and resources supporting Carers to ensure their health and wellbeing and their important role is recognised and celebrated. We are working with excellent partners such as Brent Carers Centre Age Uk Brent and others. We at Ashford Place are delighted to clap our support and appreciation for all Carers.
