It has been two and a half months since we last had face to face meetings with clients and had group activities at Ashford Place. We have adapted many of our services to ensure we continue to look after our isolated and vulnerable clients. Many of our clients and members of the community have said how grateful they are to have already had a connection to our services before Coronavirus and they tell us they are benefitting from that connection now. Our befriending services continue to thrive and are growing ever more popular. We continue to provide a range of activities but through a variety of digital platforms as well as by socially distanced meetings. Our housing and benefit advice services are still running and very busy.
These are very challenging times for the socially isolated and vulnerable clients we work with. Our client numbers continue to grow and we need the support of our volunteers, local community and funders so please reach out to us if you can assist us in our work.
