Classical music comes to Ashford Place

The place was alive with the sound of music and song this week as musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra led a fun and creative session specially designed for adults experiencing mental health challenges. This  was session one of two (next one in December) as a pilot and if all goes well there will be a nine month project in the new year 2022, one session per month where we hope to create a piece of music and song which we might  perform in public. The event was a great success with many wanting to commit to future sessions. The positive impact of  music on our mental health is well known and that was certainly obvious this week.
