Coronavirus

12.03.2020

We now know that the Government has moved from ‘containment phase’ to ‘delay phase’, and here is a link to a helpful article that explains their thinking.

We will continue to function but have made a few important changes which are:-

1.    Day to day

  • Minimise meetings/gatherings and non-essential appointments
  • We will introduce higher level of checks on external visitors.
  • We will  increase our hygiene facilities and information. (i.e. where we can order hygiene products)

2.    Who should not be in at Ashford Place?

  • The Government has now advised that anyone however mild, should stay at home, and not leave their home for 7 days from when the symptoms started.

The symptoms are recent onset of:

  • new continuous cough and/or
  • high temperature
  • Anyone who has a confirmed case should self-evidently be self-isolating.
  • Anyone who is a close contact of a confirmed case should also self-isolate for 14 days from the last time they had contact with the confirmed case.
  • Anyone who has returned from a Category 1 country in the past 14 days should self-isolated.
  • Anyone who has returned from a Category 2 country in the past 14 days and developed symptoms should self-isolate.
