While all roads are leading to Wembley this week, some are still heading down to Ashford Place. Staff and clients are getting back into the swing of things. It’s great to hear singing, talking and laughing once more as clients – old and new join in the community here in Cricklewood. Nothing beats a good old chin wag in person with a friendly face.
It’s great to see people some with ongoing illnesses both physical and mental making the best of every day. It’s an inspiration to everyone and helps foster a feeling of “well if he/she can do, I’ll give it a shot too (no football pun intended)”. However the football goes the people coming to Ashford Place will always be “coming home”. “Elizabeth – Irish Elders Worker”
