We were delighted to accept two Occupational Therapy students recently who have joined our wellbeing programme for six weeks. See below a word from Shinnell.
"Hey there! My name is Shinnell and I’m a final year occupational therapy student from St George’s University London. Over the past four weeks I have been undergoing my final practice placement at Ashford Place every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday’s. Many of you I have already met during, creative writing group, Emilie’s virtual art class, walking group, café group, and wellbeing group. However, I’m sure there are many more participants of Ashford place I’m yet to meet.
Over the next four weeks, starting the 29th July myself alongside Emma will be running our own summer project called ‘A London summer' where we explore the wonders and hindrances of living in such a robust city. I hope to see familiar and new faces next week and welcome everyone to join in a project that has a sentimental value to many Londoners.
From taking part in Emilie’s virtual art class and being in this sweltering heat I have realised swimming with dolphins is smoothing. I dream of doing, so I decided to use it as my introduction picture."
