We have been making contact and visiting some of Brent Resident homes for individuals living with mental health and learning disabilities, to promote the SMI Annual Health Checks and invite all patients to make their request with their GP`s.
This week we were able to visit the Randall Avenue Residential, and the Burnley Practice, and have made contact with the Riverview Lodge in Birchen Grove. We attended as the guest speaker for the Brent Mind teams and are soon planning to visit their residential to talk first hand with the staff there.
In addition, the 3 session Mental Health Awareness and Annual Health Checks Training has been delivered to Mutual Aid Teams in Willesden and Wembley to raise awareness of mental health and assure their users are aware of the annual health check service.
The training has been well received and we are happy to continue supporting our partners.
