Harriet supports her husband who lives with dementia and has other complex health issues. She says her role now is to be his 24/7 support and she has had to forego the plans that they both had for an adventurous retirement. It is not often Harriet has a few hours to herself and although feels badly about wanting time-out nevertheless she says she had a wonderful invigorating time this week at the Troubadour Theatre Wembley to see a performance of the Wedding Singer She left the theatre with a spring in her step.
