We delivered 62 Easter packages to our older isolated Irish clients on Easter Saturday and Sunday and without exception were greeted with delight. It was a pleasure for us to be able to have a chat over the garden gate and to see for ourselves how they are coping. Our Irish project workers and befriending team are busy telephoning all our clients at least twice a week. We are arranging food and prescription drops and doing shop and drop trips for those who cannot leave their homes.
Many are joining in our online activities and are delighted that bingo by post is being trialled to replace the much loved weekly Friday bingo session. Thank you Waitrose and partners, M&S and our local community for providing us with enough items to ensure that there was something for everyone this Easter.
