Welcome to Cricklewood

29.06.2020

More evidence of our amazing and dynamic  community and everyone who has scrubbed walls, painted over graffiti and watered plants, but mostly by the persistent and outstanding efforts of Marie Hancock, Chair of NW2 Residents Association who is building bridges all across our community, to bring everyone together to help us create pride and engagement in our local place. And now with her  pièce de résistance has project managed the Cricklewood sign on the bridge coming in to Cricklewood via Cricklewood Lane. The Cricklewood Town Team are delighted with this latest edition to Cricklewood.

This is the second project delivered by NorthWestTWO Residents’ Association thanks to funding from the GTR Passenger Benefit Fund.  Just before lockdown a mural commemorating the early days of civil aviation when you could fly from Cricklewood to Paris in a converted  WW1 bomber was launched at Cricklewood Station.  https://www.northwesttwo.org.uk/cricklewood-station-mural/

This community led project was kindly funded by GTR Passenger Benefit Fund and delivered by NorthWestTWO RA in partnership with Network Rail, Wood Street Walls, Tate Technical, Barnet Council, Conway Aecom, B&Q and Dutch and Dutch.
