Workshops for people living with dementia and their carers

13.12.2019

This Tuesday the Dementia Voices and Peer Support Group, CNWL Recovery College and Brent Memory Service reviewed their half day courses they have been co-producing. This is a series of workshops available for people diagnosed with dementia and their carers/family. The aim of the workshop is for people living with dementia and their carers to facilitate up to 2 half workshops with medical professional, and be a source of factual information/research, live shared learning and support for other families and individuals affected by the condition after a diagnosis of dementia

The plan is to run these workshops in community HUB’s like ours and we hope to start these at Ashford Place very early in 2020, so watch this space...

The Dementia Voices and Peer Support group is always welcoming new people and their families all year round, so the group was delighted to welcome lots of new faces this week!
