Last week saw the beginning of our Suicide Prevention Programme with the first support group, “Real Talk Real Support” held at the Silver Jubilee Park (charitable) Foundaton. The programme will operate at both SJP and Ashford Place venues and provides a welcoming, confidential and safe space for Brent residents to share their struggles, identify solutions and support each other. Additionally, there will be invitations to join other social activities to experience and learn new and fun ways to lead full and purposeful lives, as well as guidance on how to access relevant external support and other services available in the borough.
