A busy few weeks for our dementia community. Starting with a lovely invitation to tea at the Kiln Theatre and a very pleasant welcome by Maria and colleagues, people living with dementia, carers, volunteers and staff enjoyed their visit to this iconic, historic community place at the heart of Kilburn. And if that wasn’t enough, everyone piled into Rose’s café, a few doors down from the Kiln for a hearty lunch. One of the unintended consequences of these outings is the way individuals share their stories and then find advice and solutions from each other. August is our month for exploring Brent, getting out there and being with community.
