World MH Day 10th October 22. The Beat 103.6FM Radio Station held a very interesting discussion about mental health and the upcoming World MH Day event on Monday 10th Oct at the Civic Centre Wembley, from 11.30 – 2pm.
The event is a culmination of efforts by the Brent MH Partnership and aims to bring all MH service providers together – statutory and voluntary sector - under one roof to share information on individual services, to form alliances and to work collegiately to ensure a consistent and high quality service to Brent residents. It was reassuring to hear the voice of Sally, a Brent Thrive member whose articulate and passionate account of her own mental health challenges and also her views on how mental health service providers could design and deliver services that ensures a compassionate and professional response to all our mental health and wellbeing needs. The event is also open to the public.
