About: Welcome to your vote, developed by the Electoral Commission, is designed to introduce young people to democracy. The Elections team and Brent Youth Parliament will lead the fun session which may include activities like:
- The Electoral Commission bingo. True or false.
- Quiz: who controls what?
- Building the ideal parliament.

About: If you are aged between 11 and 18 you can come and find out how Brent Council works, and what happens behind the scenes:
- See parts of the council usually closed to visitors
- Find out how your vote makes a difference
- Meet the Leader of the council, cabinet members and
- Brent Youth Parliament chairs
- Make you voice heard and speak directly to your local politicians
- Enjoy tasty refreshments

About: Based on the BBC’s Question Time programme, local community members will join Councillors to discuss the local situation and answer your questions. This year’s theme is the cost of living crisis. If you would like to submit a question, you can email [email protected]. If your question is shortlisted, you will be notified and will be able to ask the question at the event.
