Our dementia café members enjoyed a visit from a group of fire fighters from Wembley Fire station this week to hear advice about keeping safe in the home e.g. making sure that smoke detectors are working, being careful with candles, ensuring heaters are away from curtains etc etc. Our staff delivered Dementia training sessions to the Wembley Fire Brigade over the last year.
