Ashford place in partnership with www.cad-brent.org.uk arranged a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate the Coronation and brought our dementia community together at the Chalkhill Community Centre. Brent residents living with dementia, carers, staff and volunteers enjoyed an afternoon of activities, lunch and just the fun of being together, catching up with friends, making new connections and agreeing that we must do more of this for our wellbeing and resilience. A few people remembered the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth. Thanks to part funding by the Big Lottery Community Fund.
