What a turn out for this month’s dementia friendly screening at the Kiln. More than 70 people attended from the de-café network in Brent , bringing together people from our community. The film was Dream Girls, a fabulous film with a star studded cast and it was clearly a firm favourite with the crowd. The music was powerful and familiar, and had us all tapping and singing along. Thank you so much to the kiln for organising these monthly screenings for the dementia community, and for providing refreshments so that we were well watered before braving the weather. The Kiln really is a community space, venue, resource. We are very grateful!
