Clients and staff enjoyed a wonderful production this week called ‘Still We Roar’ which tells the stories of three pioneering Black female players in English football i.e. Kerry Davis, England Women's first Black player; Hope Powell England's first female manager and Mary Phillip England Women's first Black captain.
Echoing this year’s Black History Month theme of ‘Saluting our Sisters’, Wembley stadium wanted to acknowledge a collection of Black women across the UK who have lifted up, opened doors and advocated – not only for themselves but for their sisters and their community. Big thanks to the stadium for inviting Brent residents to this very exciting evening.
