We were delighted to host instrumental workshops for the Return to London Town Irish music festival. It was our third year hosting the workshops and we enjoy seeing the attendees return each year and getting to know them a bit better and hear their stories about their connections to Cricklewood or tell those who are not familiar with Cricklewood about the history of the Irish in Cricklewood.
The torrential rain did not keep over 150 attendees of all ages away and they all enjoyed the workshops with many commenting on the “great building” we have and how well suited our spaces are to the workshops.
It was wonderful to hear traditional Irish music throughout the building and even some of our service users and locals swung by to listen in and enjoy a cuppa from our Side Door café.
