We are serious about being more sustainable and reducing our carbon footprint. With this in mind we recently completed an eco-audit funded by the Corporation of London’s City Bridge Foundation Greening the Third Sector project, and were very happy to find that we continue to make excellent progress since our first audit back in 2009. We will now look at what we need to change in terms of our behaviour and products that enable us to continuously reduce our carbon footprint. Some of our recent successes include;
- Premises CO2 emissions down 70%
- Electricity emissions down 78%
- Increasing recycling from just 10% to 54%
- Total waste down 26%
