When people ask, “Who has mental health?” or “Who needs positive wellbeing?” the answer is simple: everyone. We all have mental and physical health, and it’s essential to nurture and care for both throughout our lives.
At Ashford Place, our Project Leaders take special consideration for those who may struggle with managing their mental and physical wellbeing daily. Neglecting these aspects can lead to long-term physical health issues.
We encourage our clients to participate in activities tailored to their specific needs and interests. Whether it’s creating art in our groups, singing in the Singing For Wellbeing Group, or knitting and crocheting in our Craft-ernoon Group, these experiences boost confidence and provide unique socialisation opportunities. Clients often share positive feedback, expressing how Ashford Place has lifted their spirits on challenging days.
Given the current cost of living crisis, which contributes to housing problems, loneliness, and isolation, it’s crucial for everyone to prioritise their mental and physical health. Let’s work together to stay well. If you know anyone who might benefit from our activities get in touch [email protected]
