Our dementia team led a very competitive game of boccia at Queens Park today. Boccia is a paralympic sport and is played seated or standing so that anyone can take part. The Blue team led for most of the match – but just at the last-minute Donald’s team Red snatched the game 6-4. The group then retreated to the park café for some well-earned refreshment, all in all a fabulous way to spend an afternoon.
