This week, we had the honour of welcoming the Mayor of Brent, Councillor Tariq Dar, and Deputy Mayor, Councillor Ryan Hack. Their visit provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the impactful work that Ashford Place undertakes in supporting vulnerable residents across Brent. While they were with us we engaged in meaningful discussions addressing the challenges our community faces and shared insights into the initiatives we’ve implemented to tackle these issues. Their presence reinforced the importance of fostering collaboration between local government and community charities like ours, ensuring a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
As community representatives, councillors possess a unique understanding of their residents' needs and concerns, alongside a comprehensive awareness of the services available through Brent’s community sector. This partnership is instrumental in creating lasting positive change.
