As more and more essential services move online - from banking to NHS services, council and government services to travel - people who are older, disabled, living with an SMI or with literacy problems are facing new barriers to living well and staying socially connected.
According to Age UK’s 2025 survey, 31% of people over the age of 60 say life is harder than five years ago because the things they want to do are online!
We're proud to offer a wide range of digital skills opportunities for our clients, which recently included a three-day NHS App Training course with the help in delivery by Ubuntu Pledge.
The course was very well received by clients and we look forward to delivering more NHS App support soon, thanks to our newly trained NHS App ambassadors! Thank you Sally and Henock for your patience and expertise - even in the face of a heatwave!
Did you know we also offer:
- One-to-one tech-support appointments support through our popular TechBuddy scheme
- A rolling 8-week smartphone skills course
